European Bier Cafe - Melbourne

I have suspected that my previous Zomato reviews have been deleted for some time now, despite repeated assurances from Zomato that was not the case. So it was interesting to learn recently that other Zomato reviewers have had similar experiences, with their previous reviews being deleted.<br/ <br/ So whilst I did an updated recent review of the European Bier Cafe, it appears to have been deleted. <br/ <br/ So I went back to the European Bier Cafe for another beer and this place still hits the mark. <br/ <br/ The service is efficient, the beer selection great and the prices reasonable. <br/ <br/ I hope this review is not deleted. This place in the city is definitely worth a visit.<br/ <br/ <br/ September 2018<br/ I haven’t been here for a while so I decided to call into this place and have a beer, given that it’s beer o’clock haha. This place has a really good range of European beers not surprisingly, such as Belgian, German, Italian and Chez. Happy days.<br/ <br/ Between 5-9pm weekdays there is Happy Hour which means $10 pints which is good considering the beers are imported. It’s a comfortable space downstairs, but I was hoping to see their rooftop bar but there’s a function on today so that’ll have to wait till next time. All that’s missing is Eurovision on the tele lol

Recently had the opportunity to try the new menu from European Bier Cafe and we have to say we are loving it.<br/ <br/ We had the good fortune of having the pork belly roast of the day sadly every day is different so it's luck of the draw and it was amazing. Couldn't fault it.<br/ <br/ Not to mention everything else we ate and drank were amazing.<br/ <br/ If you find yourself looking for a bite to eat that won't break the bank and for any occasion, lunch or dinner. <br/ <br/ You won't be disappointed with their new menu!

A classic establishment for those who works this financial district area. A comfy pub with hearty pub food and well priced drinks and specials! Can’t complain really!

Came here for a group lunch and got the steak with garlic butter. Waited for a long while for food, maybe like 30 minutes during the rush hour.<br/ <br/ The steak was ok, average and was a bit chewy.

Came in without much expectation due to previous zomato reviews but the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We were served by Mitch who was lovely. Garlic pizza had a lot of cheese and made fresh from scratch right then and there. Calamari was tender and parmaa had a light crunchy batter. Love the range of drinks available. Would definitely come back for the food!
