Doccs Kitchen - Melbourne

Nice place. Don't let the location and outside deter you. I'm glad we decided to wander in. The freshly made guacamole was yummy and their small menu had quite a few options. Being a vegan, I was able to find a few choices. Definitely give it a try. I'm curious to see what it's like after dark; it looks like it might be a night club ?!? It's BEHIND the emergency care place of the same name, confusing.

First, the food was great. So nice to have an ethical restaurant with such reasonable prices. It's not everyday I get to go out and choose anything I want off the menu. However the outside space could really use some work, and the service could too. Pieces of ready fabric hanging off the bottoms of chairs, the floors were filthy, and there were a lot of questionable fake plants hanging. The server was nice, just seemed inexperienced, not very attentive, and way too harried considering for most of the time we were the only ones there. This could very easily be a gorgeous outdoor eating experience. Just needs some slightly nicer furnishings and better upkeep. I will definitely go back, but with different expectations. I was also mildly frustrated that the menu they emailed me the day before was no longer accurate and several things I had been looking forward to ordering were gone.

My daughter and I went there for lunch not your ordinary lunch it was an extraordinary lunch highly recommended great service great chef great food it's a must try you won't be disappointed
