La Ferme de mon Pere - Megève

Cool atmosphere with dimmed lighting and rustic style, great dishes of sweet and meat, amazing wine menu and service! merci!

We were in the chalet zannier, and have so many nice addresses in the city that we la ferme only tried in our last night when it was too nice next to the kamin in our room, and we felt like a little longer to stay and... finally eating in we were not disappointed, excellent service, great tapas, a very good wein recommendation from the young waitress. we would have known we would have eaten twice during our stay. we're coming back.

Let me begin with the positive: we were warmly and efficiently welcomed; there were parking possibilities and we were led directly to the restaurant. the latter, despite the subway, does not feel at all claustrophobic, and the entire ambiente is quite good, therefore kudos too. the decorator architekt. the personal was very friendly, but the service was badly coordinated: after a long wait we had to remind them to bring the bottle chablis, the appetitors arrived late, we had to ask for brotbutter (while we wait for our appetitors to arrive), and both the appetitors and the main courses felt overwhelmed without the corresponding result in the taste. we ordered the cuisses de grenouilles for the risotto truffe noire for the octopus ceviche (acter of the day), and the velouté de topinambours for overall we paid (incl. wein in the value of two and we were both deeply disappointed by the quality of the courts, the (un)timeliness of the service and the total lack of money. we have visited practically all the top restaurants in megève, and although the village is not famous for its value for money, the total experience definitiw this restaurant has set on our black list.

It was of us and none of us managed to order an edible course. The thai style crevette were the worst i’ve ever eaten actually not eaten: had to leave most of it and i wish i had left more. The poached eggs...were dipped in a liquid which may as well have been dirty-dishes water. We all felt heavy stomachs and we all agreed we ll never go back.

Journaliste, j'ai voulu découvrir ce restaurant lors de mon séjour à Megeve. Déjà les prix indiqués sur leur site ne correspondent pas du tout avec ceux qui nous ont ete proposés lors de notre visite. On nous a proposé les suggestions vocalement sans aucune indication de prix. Les quantités étaient trop petites par rapport aux prix. Seul point positif, le service est ultra rapide. La décoration est quasi inexistante dans cette belle salle en bois. Quelques éléments typiquement savoyards apporteraient un peu de chaleur. Bref, a ne pas recommander !
