Bidrage med feedbackI am writing this from a perspective of a person who works for the company with business account with Premier Inn, and I always get food voucher to spend in hotel 's associated restaurant. Thus, I am not only used to the menu, but also have tried various interpretations of it across the country. C 'mon, it 's free meal, right? One part never fails, that 's service and staff. You guys are great. I don 't know if that 's company policy or they 're simply lucky, but keep up the good work! As for food... I don 't expect miracles, although for the prices, I probably should. With the voucher for £25, I need to be careful not to overspend on main course and a drink! Yes, no starter or dessert, just mains. And what a selection: 2 types of curry, 2 types burgers, 2 types of salad, a single fish sea bass , 4 ! types of steak, and one veggie lasagne. There 's also pizza, but that sounds scary, in light of other items on the menu. I purposefully omit starters, sharers and desserts, as they are out of my £25 allowance zone. Seriously guys, the choice used to be better, where is pasta, where are risottos? Is it really that difficult? And, the meal itself. A burger. Nicely presented and the wait wasn 't bad at all perhaps 10-15 minutes . Chips are straight from the fryer, burger looks grilled and cheese is nicely melted, along with charred bacon. Why is it cold inside though? Just there, the outside is still sizzling. Not to mention, the burger wasn 't really grilled, was it? If so, tell the chef to use higher temperature, for it shouldn 't get dry inside. And, the side, mighty slaw... with way too much mayo, for everthing else couldn 't break through with the taste. I am bound to spend more time at yours and will try other items on the menu, but for today, I decided to go to the nearest food-serving pub. Service is not as good, but for £13 I was able to get my food and drink, and it was still nicer than yours. Word of advice: swap the steaks and chicken for pasta, rice, fish, perhaps even pies or bangers. Reconsider prices and don 't tell me about the £24.99 deal! . Lastly, give your staff good bonuses, they save your business.
This restaurant, located within a small hotel, does not aim to provide a upscale dining experience. Despite this, we enjoyed a satisfactory meal and were impressed by the diligent and amiable staff. This is where the restaurant stands out from its competitors.
We stayed after visiting the Chatham Dockyard Call the Midwife tour and found the location of the restaurant to be great. The rooms were very clean and had great facilities. We opted for the 2-course dinner and breakfast deal, which included a glass of wine or beer. It was a fantastic deal! The food was high quality pub grub, and we particularly enjoyed the 2 cocktails for £12 deal from 5pm to 7pm. The highlight of our stay was the wonderful Sarah, who served us in the bar for dinner and breakfast. She was friendly, had a great sense of humor, and really made our stay special. Thank you so much, Sarah!
A meal at the hotel in the evening. The servers were very welcoming, and the menu was simple yet effective. The dishes were generous, well-presented, and delicious. We chose a double bacon burger with fries and a side salad like coleslaw (12.50). We were not disappointed at all. In fact, we had a hard time finishing our meal. The servers regularly checked on us to make sure everything was okay. A great team!
The staff at this restaurant are welcoming and attentive, making sure your glass is never empty. Unfortunately, the food is expensive and not very good quality. It seems like most of the dishes are pre-packaged and just thrown into the fryer. The only fresh ingredient is the pile of arugula and poorly chopped salad on the side. I would suggest eating somewhere else before returning to your room and just sticking to the bar for drinks. Stay away from the peppercorn sauce unless you really love a lot of pepper in your gravy.
