Mcbrides Bakery - Medicine Hat

By far the best sausage rolls I’ve found , only problem is I live in Lethbridge .

Stopped here on my way back to Ontario, got some donuts for the road.They are pricey but supper frash! It was really nice to finally eat a fresh and not commercial made donuts if you know what I mean.The donuts are big, tasty, fresh.Will definitely recommend everyone to stop here and get a donut.The place is cashless so they only accept debit/ credit card.Plus they have farm fresh eggs a dozen for 4.5$ if I am not mistaken.

Doesn’t accept cash and if you only have cash, they won’t give change which to my mind, is theft. Also, their baked goods have really gone downhill and they use canned pie fillings instead of homemade.We stopped supporting this bakery a few years ago due to these issues and now prefer either Country Crumbs (best in town), Dee’s Baked goods in NWCH, or Redcliff Bakery in Redcliff.

This bakery has a campaign against Alberta.I’m thinking they must have made a good gab of taxpayers dollars due to Coviid lock downs.

Hands down a better bakery all around than Redcliff Bakery.
