Casa Ardeleana - Mediaş

I was so happy to find this restaurant, with good food, very professional staff and nice location, quite area and nice atmosphere . Always when I'm going in Medias I make sure to enjoy my lunch and dinner in this beautiful, magical place. I strong recommended this place for eating with family or friends.

Ok, yes, as most places, it took a while to get a menu and then to get an order taken. Once the waiter saw our drinks order, he realised we were there for a good time and he really looked after us. We had palinka, beers, 3 courses. They let us move inside when it started to rain. THe portions were huge and hearty, type of food you need in the winter, and in particluar the apple pie was amazing (although we already had half the mains in a doggy bag so the dessert was take away). His english was better than most places we had been, luckily as our Romanian is terrible (and google translate only gets you so far!) We really did enjoy our meal here and next time would take a taxi so we can have some extra shots

An excellent restaurant in a secluded and quiet location with large food portions generous and affordable but what impressed us was the bread served with food , really traditional bread , good !!

We were happy to find this place which is a little out of town, near a forest. Quiet, with fresh air. I've had goulash soup which is very tasty and pork meat with french fries. Portions were so big, I couldn't finish. Good service, very nice waiters. The food is authentic Transilvanian, so I recommend it.
