MEZZALUNA SALAD BAR - Medellín

I have visited this restaurant in all its locations in Medellín (Zona Dos Sur, oviedo and Laureles). I have discovered that the best service is in Laureles, where the waiters are kind and the food is served very quickly. I have tried salads, wraps and panecooks. I'd liked the first two.. The pannecooks i found terrible. What i like the most is to create my own salad with the ingredients i like, but this is the most expensive option. They have a lot of options for all preferences (beef, chicken, veggie, fish) so it can fit any need. I will come back, because i like healthy food.

I've got good comments from some of my friends so I decided to try the Mezzaluna Oviedo, a fast food place serving salads, wraps..., they have some choice of ingredients other than the veggies; beef, pork, chicken, shrimp. I ordered a pernil (pork) salad and iced tea. I took 15 minutes to serve it, I know it was lunch time but come on, it's a freakin salad, what I got was ok and that's a gentle note, it's a bunch of ingredients mixed with a bland dressing, stuff with no personality, take for instance lettuce and corn, it needs some special magic to go well, cheese that tasted like eraser, not parm or aged cheese, the pork had little flavor but it was a few pieces on top of the bowl. The price about US$ 9, which is ok for Manhattan, not Medellin. I'm not going to stay on ambiance, since it's inside the food court of a crowded mall, I just wanted a nice salad, which I didn't get.

He visitado este sitio desde hacer un par de años, y pese a que en general tiene un buen servicio, la comida definitivamente ha desmejorado. Los platos mixtos en especial, carecen de gracia, las pastas se sirven muy blandas y la ensalada es desabrida ( lechuga con crutones). Hago el comentario anterior luego de haber tenido la experiencia de manera constante en las últimas oportunidades.

@mezzalunasaladsypasta la peor experiencia en domicilios de la ciudad. Mi novia pidió un domicilio en mi compañía, el domicilio jamás llego, nos toco llamar en dos ocaciones a preguntar qué pasaba. La administradora fue negligente y nunca ofreció una solución. Después de varias llamadas el domicilio llego a las dos horas, cuando ya habíamos pedido comida en otro lado. Recomiendo jamás pedir un domicilio a este restaurante

Pedí un menú de 17.500 y me ofrecieron con solomito, llegó de 22.900 quemado y el sabor nada apropiado para el precio
