Bidrage med feedbackEat in this restaurant, which had a conservative style. The steak and the service were good as the service. The wine was decent, not my ordinary Chardonnay, but another white wine with a decent cast. Would recommend.
I enjoy this restaurant in the neighborhood of Laureles. I would say the style of this restaurant is a place to bring a friend or a family. I wouldn't invite a date here because there's nothing more romantic about the place. But, besides being romantic, egos is a great place to eat on very good and tasteful dishes. The service here is always friendly and helpful. It is very clean and tidy in the dining room and the toilets. I particularly like their hamburgers either grinding beef or steak and their ribs literally fall from the bone. They give you a transparent plastic glove to put your hands to eat the ribs. I need to include a photo with my review here, my friend's ribbed plate because he licked the bones clean! That's what I'm here next time! But I loved my burger and it was very tasteful. This is definitely a return to the spot!
This restaurant was opposite my hotel (Inntu Hotel). You have a nice selection of dishes with excellent service. The best thing for me was that it wasn't expensive. It was about being in the right place and at the right time.
We took a table upstairs, next to the balcony railing, and took advantage of the breeze. Three of us ordered salomito, the local name for the cut we norteamericanos call filet mignon. It came with a very nice salad, and your choice of French fries or yuca croquettes The salad was tasty, with a nice variety of greens and a sweet dressing. The steak was charcoal grilled, tender, juicy, and cooked to a perfect medium rare though I was expecting one cut of 300 grams, rather than two of 150 grams each. And the price was very reasonable, by my lights about 19,000 pesos, which works out to a shade above $6 US at the current exchange rates
Punta de Anca : Juicy cut of 450 grams. Grilled over charcoal plus salad or French fries or mashed yucca croquettes.
