Kingdom Bistro - Medan

This is a good place for informal, recreational pocket pool. Six tables, usually populated by younger groups of friends. The tables are in decent condition but do receive a lot of wear. House cues for the most part have serviceable tips and are in pretty good shape compared to a lot of places I've played. Staff is friendly and attentive. They offer a food/snack menu as well as a selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. As with most of Medan, hard alcohol is pricey whether you buy it by the glass/shot or by the bottle. Beers are priced typically here and include Bintang, Heineken and Guiness. In addition to the six tables there's a second, larger area set up for concerts and consisting of tables, chairs and a few couches. There is a stage and an impressive lighting and acoustic system. The bar is located in this room as well. On a regular basis they have performance events by well known local groups, and most weekend evenings in between they have live music as well. You won't find many serious players here this is definitely a more laid back and recreational vibe than some other places in town, which is just fine. Come here when you don't want the pressure of being asked to play competitively.

It's been a while since the renovation. First floor become Italian restaurant and Bistro moved to 2nd floor which got indoor and out door seat. The skeel of cigarette very intense in indoor seat.

Looking for a new hobby so you don't make the same mistakes

Went to the pool and play for 3 hours because they have a special price when you pay for 2 hours but you got 3 hours. But I dont really recommend this place, because the place is really small and the space between tables makes all the players not really comfortable with it. And because the room is not well ventilated, the smoke stick to all of the places, even my mask smells really bad when i get out from there. I prefer somewhere else, tbh.

Not too expensive, good hospitality, and the ambience was great
