While heading towards the Ardennes, we made a stop in Mechelen for lunch. The city center boasts lovely terraces overlooking the Big Markt. We had a delightful lunch on the terrace, enjoying the Scandinavian sandwich, Italian sandwich, and grilled cheese sandwich. All the delicious raw vegetables were served in a jar.
