The waiter brought us a Chablis instead of the Pouilly-Fumé we had ordered, and after a tense discussion, we were informed that the Pouilly was no longer available. There was a disagreement between the two waiters. The head waiter had a filet mignon that was tough. We paid 235 euros for four people and did not even receive dessert. The service was rated as an eight out of ten due to the poor experience. It was clear that there was a staff party happening in another room, and it was obvious where the restaurant's priorities lay.
It was nice weather during the day, but it was already fresh to the night, no matter what, it was said that it was served outside. Since they did see that we might be looking for something else. I went to a restaurant yesterday called Marge Grand Lamot. They had just introduced a new menu, so I asked for a recommendation from it. Initially, I had my eye on the salmon bun, but the waiter suggested I try a piece of Spanish beef Rubia Gallega instead. When it arrived, I could already smell something off, which was confirmed by the taste. I have never had such a bad tasting dish before. I am not a picky eater and am open to trying new things, but none of my friends at the table liked it either. This piece of meat cost over 31 euros. When I mentioned that I didn't enjoy it, I was not offered any alternative. I will not be returning to this restaurant. I suggest you try the Rubia Gallega yourself and see if you like it.
The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, offering a great view. The food is tasty and portions are generous. However, the service lacks attentiveness and hospitality. From the moment you arrive, to your meal, and even when you leave, you don't feel welcomed or acknowledged. Additionally, they ask for a service charge when paying by credit card, which was disappointing. Overall, this experience was a letdown.
