Cannon's Chophouse - Meadville

First let me say that this is nothing against the servers or staff. they were all friendly and a tempted to make you feel welcome in their new space. This used to be a frequent location for us to dine. we have been waiting for them to reopen and have their gumbo. (Which is fantastic by the way). However, our recent visit to the new location in downtown Meadville, we found to be not so welcoming. The environment was crowded, loud and not do family friendly. Food was decent enough but didn't seem as good as before. I hate to put down the place because we fully support local establishments, but we were recently charged twice for the meal. The second transaction happened almost a week after our visit. I'm hoping it was a mistake. unfortunately it was a mistake that breaks the trust of loyal customers. So be careful and make sure you double check your bank statements or pay with cash.

Wow! I cannot believe this is Meadville! It is so good . Recommend softball cut steak and sautéed mushrooms. You will not find anything better in Crawford County, all of Pennsylvania, the USA, and perhaps the entire world! Really check it out!

Steakhouse salad is the best salad you’ll ever have! Great service and great atmosphere!

Absolutely love Cannon’s. Their Pastalaya is amazing so it the Alfredo. Picked it up curbside took it home for dinner. Thank you.
