Mary’s - McAllen

We ordered 2 breakfasts and it ended up being $28!! They are sneaky here! They charge you different from the prices on the menu!! The food is insignificant. They also take forever to bring your food. They attend their favorite clients first. There is a lady there with all her hair in her face while waitressing. Just nasty . The hair could fall on the food. She has blond hair and is there laughing screaming like crazy with the customers. What a clown. This restaurant is a hot mess should be closed down.Pedimos 2 desayunos y terminó siendo 28 !! ¡Son transas aquí! ¡Te cobran diferente a los precios del menú! La comida es insignificante. También tardan una eternidad en traer tu comida. Hacen preferencia con los clientes que conocen por eso se tardan. Hay una mesera allí con todo su cabello en la cara. Simplemente asquerosa. El cabello podría caer sobre la comida. Ella tiene el pelo rubio y está riendo gritando como loca con los clientes. Qué payasa. Este restaurante es un desastre que debería cerrarse.

Went to Marys Restaurant and it was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. There was a sign inside the restaurant that says “My food takes time, if you have time I have your food”. We waited patiently and it was worth the wait. We went again the next day but they close at 1pm on Sundays, will go again when we are in McAllen. We are from Houston ?

Stopped here for breakfast with my partner a few weeks ago. It was our first time. We ordered tacos and coffee. The coffee arrived promptly but we waited about 20 minutes for our tacos! While we waited I looked around and saw that there were only around 4 other tables with customers, so it’s not like the place was busy. I asked the waitress if it was going to be much longer and she said it would only be a little bit longer. The tacos finally arrived around 20 minutes after I ordered them. What annoyed me is that the waitress didn’t apologize for the food taking so long and when I went to pay at the counter the owner/manager also didn’t ask about our experience and no apology for our long wait. And to top it off the tacos were expensive in my opinion. Not worth the price or the hassle.

Great location for Mexican food. Next time I'll be back with my coworkers. Prices that won't break you.

The service at this restaurant was lacking, with only one waiter who took a long time to come to our table and never ended up bringing us the coffee we ordered.
