The best restaurant with seafood in the rio grande valley, no bar! I never left without my taste buds singing for joy. the classic tacos are wonderful, and the fish with no-name sauce is fantastic. the service is fast and friendly and the place is bright and cheerful.

La jaiba recently visited a Friday during the fast season and feared that food quality and service would suffer due to demand and hurry, but I was pleasantly surprised. we sat pretty fast and made our orders. we had a fried fish platter, a fried Fish/Shrimp combo and an order of rafafa (Mexical art shrimp salad.) everything was delicious, especially the fried fish fillets. they were perfectly cooked. the rafafa tasted somewhat different from that I had in other restaurants (in good wise,) I thought it had a hauch of Worchestire sauce, but I can be wrong. I enjoyed it. despite the Friday Lent crowd, the service was at point. our orders were taken quickly, eating was surprisingly brought to our table, as we enjoyed the by-product. I recommend the cilantro ranch dressing....YUMMY
