Green Leaf's - McAllen

During my friend's lunch break, she had a French onion soup at the restaurant. It possibly had water from South Padre Island added to it. I am giving it four stars because it is likely not the owner's fault.

The cranberry almond chicken salad at this restaurant is fantastic! Even though it is on the pricey side, the taste is worth it. I only deducted one star because of the cost. The smoothies are also incredibly delicious.

The food is overpriced. A medium lemonade, a jalapeño, and small Lay's chips cost more than expected, especially considering the chips cost less than the jalapeño. The food was good, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. However, based on the prices, I wouldn't recommend going back or bringing friends.

My salat had some unwanted additional protein aka a cockroache I found after eating over the salat

Got the pesto caprese, it had little sprinkled cheese and slices of tomato, it was a joke, and the fruit in salad was sour, worst of all the salad container was broken and spilled all over the bag. Well that was a bad pick for lunch.
