The restaurant is family friendly, eating is delicious, and good service.
Everyone looking for a great hearty breakfast is the place before I go to the food, I really want to point out that they take very serious disinfection and cleaning. it is the only restaurant and is seriously mean the only restaurant that I have seen actiw and without hesitation clean, disinfected and all table cloths immediately replace after any party. here they do not have to wonder whether the table on which they are sitting is safe because they actually see cleaning and disinfection in progress through their meal. not to mention them have electronic menus (I don't have my phone, so they give me a hard copy of the menu,) they can see from their phone and leave it will always open someone to the door, so they don't touch the handle. I am grateful that they all take the necessary steps to protect their guests. service: the service was what I expected from a restaurant that was friendly, fast and very attentive to our needs. I liked not only the service our waiter has provided, but also really the fact that others waiter, as they passed from our table, asked us if we needed something. I really enjoyed this because, as they all have experienced, sometimes they need something and their waiter can get out of what reason and they are abandoned trying to tie up whoever can help. here they have to wait because they, whether their server or someone else, they will always be over and ask if they do okay or need something. well done. food: the plates where very well served! they get a lot of food, and I think the average price per plate tabs of 130-140 pesos, which is about $6-7 dollars, I think the most expensive thing that I saw was the bottom plate at 150, which give or take $7.50. for the amount of eating they get the price themselves is quite good. as far as the taste goes: my plate was mix chilaquiles with barbacoa. comes with an order plate of barbacoa, 1 ei, bohnen and chilaquiles. the chilaquiles, where toast and crisp. the barbacoa was tasteful and well seasoned. the beans you could say they are made to home, not some pasty refried looking dinge you get from a bag. they had no spicy salsa, but they brought out some grilled jalapenos that did well. I think they called the chiles toreados. the cafe de olla was probably a part of the most tasty coffee I had. do not think they put sugar anymore because it is done with something called pilonsillo. I guess is a kind of cooked sugar, tastes kind of like sweet cinnamon, but not really. try it, they will see what I mean. great place definitely recommend. I was in ocho octavos and bamboo, which are similar restaurants nearby. I will tell them about this mi ranchito, is far superior in all aspekten von food options, cleanliness, price and service. I hope they'll all give mi ranchito a try.
I had breakfast here and I loved it. very nice cozy Mexican place with traditional dresses like chilaquiles, bark machaca, eggs, etc. it was an excellent breakfast experience, very nice waiter staff and very nice restaurant ambiente. the coffee here is traditional Mexican made, very tasty, give it a try. per tip order the mixing plate. chilaquiles with everything you like. they also serve for lunch.
This place is top notch of what you will find in mazatlan. It was very clean and the staff was so polite and attentive. The best part was obviously the food. Started off with queso fresco and mashed avocado. That was some of the creamiest cheese I've ever had! Served with homemade tortillas..can it get better? Yes! The barbacoa/carnitas combination plate my partner was finger licking! I got the chilaquiles en salsa verde with carne asada. That sauce was almost as good as my mom's, and that's saying something (I AM Mexican, so based off experience, I declare myself as a salsa expert/entrepreneur The steak was tender, juicy, and flavorful, and the chips had an amazing, home made crunch. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the chips are a CRUCIAL piece to chilaquiles, coming second only to the salsa. We had to try the pay de guayaba. I then wished I had enough room to eat a whole slice myself. The only regret I have, is not going back a second time in the 6 days we were there.
