Mariscos El Cachi - Maywood

This review was from a visit on 10-14-22 , We went to visit my dad to Los Angeles, and I was craving some mariscos. My dad said that his coworker had recommended this place, so we decided to try it. I will say that the Shrimp Ceviche is really good, but everything was not that great. The other good thing was the horchata. My dad ordered the Cumarones barberos and the waitress told us they didn't have that, we also wanted a side of beans for my husband's entree and the server said they didn't have beans. My dad ended up ordering the Camarones culichi and they were ok. The worst part of the meal was the server. The server was really rude, and we felt rushed the whole time. I will definitely not be coming back to this place. Parking is not that great at this place as well.

I recently moved to Texas and I miss this place with all my heart! Ceviche is hands down some of the best I've ever had! Coctel is great as well! And their customer service is always on point. I make sure to pay them a visit whenever I'm in town visiting. Definitely recommend!

Anytime I'm in the area craving mariscos I have to make my stop here! The michies here are so big and delicious. Perfect cure for a hangover! The cups are big and the drinks are affordable here. Speaking of drinks; they don't serve tap water here so if you ask for water they charge you for a bottle! So keep that in mind! The mariscos are the best part of this whole place you can't go wrong with any option on the menu! The Agua chiles, the ceviche, oysters, scallops! All really delicious and mouth watering! The menu is pretty big and even serves fried shrimp and fish! For parking, they have a small lot but you usually can find parking there if not you can try your luck at the street. A great place and great service ! Will forever be coming back here!

I'm furious. Today my friends and I went to this restaurant. They dared to charged me the tip from my card even though I told them not to because I left a tip in cash and not only for one girl but for the two girls who attended us. That is extremely disrespectful. There is no way I will go back to this place. Ever!

Once you walk in there you already know it 's a great vibe. Good music good service. I 've been here three times. The first two were outstanding. The third one not the best. Food was bland. Specially the aguachiles. No spice at all and all I 'm getting is the taste of raw shrimp. You don 't taste the sauce or the kick of the serranos and the portions were very small the third time around. Nothing to compare the first two. The first two I can literally say the plate was full. The third time looked as if they counted every ingredient and overloaded on the juice. The worst part was the buchona . For 18 dollars you expect a really bomb michelada and with shrimp around the cup and some extras. But this one was so plain. All it had was the rim Clamato tajin and English sauce oh and the beer I think it was a 32oz which you can get for a little under 5 bucks in a liquor store but getting charged 18. Definitely not worth it. This last time really makes me question wether I 'll go again.
