Osaka Japanese Cafe - Mays Landing

Great place to stop midway through the mall shopping to enjoy a nice bite to eat. The sushi is varied and fresh and the staff welcoming. Cooked dish options and a variety of of lovely beverages. My go to would have to be the Earthquake Roll, a spicy and flavourful one though tbh the Volcano name would suit it better and vice versa. Everything is high marks save for the atmosphere, it is a mall food court after all and Osaka themselves have no control over.

I ordered from my phone thinking it was a new place to try. Turns out it's in the Hamilton Mall food court and it is absolutely awful. I ordered the Salmon and Rice bowl. It was a sliver of salmon as thick as a slice of lunch meat on top of a clump of white rice.My wife's chicken and shrimp teriyaki was equally as bad. As soon as I realized it was in the mall I wanted to keep driving but I had prepaid on the app.

When someone recommended the food court in the hamilton mall for large local sushi, I thought he was fooling! as it turned out, he let me in an amazing secret. the sushi at osaka is not only fresh and tasty, but very cheap. also the customer service is very good. I highly recommend it.
