Pizzeria Sidan - Mayrhofen

Called into this restaurant following a long walk, the waitress was lovely and the choice of food was really good. I order pasta which was delicious. We had been in Mayrhofen for 13 days so it was nice to have something a little different to...the usual Austrian fare which although lovely was similar in most restaurants. The view from the terrace is beautiful and if we had discovered the Restaurant Pizzeria Sidan earlier in our stay we would have been back. Well worth the 30 minute walk from the station in Mayrhofen. If your holidaying in the Ziller valley and fancy a change then Pizzeria Sidan will not disappoint.

A very relaxed, friendly atmosphere with really good pizzas and local beer. Attentive service by a lovely waitress who spoke good English. Would definitely return.

This restaurant is quite out of the way so they probably do not see if they do not aim at it, but trust me, go to him, it is something outside of mayrhofen, about half an hour to foot, the outside area is beautiful and inside is an open kitchen where they can see that they make the pizzas and the huge oven pizza. the pizzas are beautiful and many different flavors, they have a drawn blackburger that my father said was amazing, the burger bungalow is black colored, a beautiful effect, in any other restaurant they would double calculate! the steak was beautiful, had a great crust and cooked to perfection. the pasta is beautiful and made from ground on (the spaghetti pomodoro was exquisite). Finally, the chips are beautiful and crispy and simply end the meal now, on the staff, they are very courteous and can speak English, which helped me and my family a lot, on our third time here the waiter guessed all four of our drinks and they were all right! the waiter is also very funny and just lights up every meal! thank you. P.S.: go to sidan!

I think the restaurant in this hotel survives for two reasons. first, that the hotel is popular for school excursions, secondly, that it is virtually not a competition within walking distance. at our first visit, we thought we should wait to take a place. all the workers ignored...us when I asked a worker if we should just sit in an empty table, I said rudely that he was too busy to talk to me. we found a recently released table, not yet clarified and filled. eating was okay. decent pizzas. the waiter who sat on this table was kind. we visited a second start for a drink in the bar. the barman disappeared immediately. we waited for 20 minutes. we asked the waiter we used before (and generously tilted) if someone could serve us. he only pointed to someone else and said, talk to him. this person also refused to acknowledge us. at the end we just went out and got a taxi into the city.

Here at school when I am the driver of the trainer and what can I say the place is wonderful the host /owners top notch the eating is so delicious and the facility is so clean and welcoming
