Meridian 16 - Maynooth

The food at this restaurant was tasty, but unfortunately, I will not be returning. We ordered 2 beef souvlaki dishes, but our food arrived about 30-40 minutes late. It was not our order; instead, we received 2 chicken dishes that were mostly cold. The manager or whoever was in charge had a terrible attitude and tried to guilt us into keeping the food by saying it was worth 20 euros more and that we should be happy with it. When we insisted on our original order, he seemed very frustrated. He instructed us to keep the food in the bag and not to open it, as they would come to collect it. This made it seem like he planned on selling it to someone else. Part of the reason they gave for us to accept the incorrect food was that the other customers had already eaten our order. It's not reasonable for a restaurant to give customers food that has already been opened and inspected by someone else. They should cook fresh or train their delivery staff better. We found the staff to be extremely unprofessional, and they treated my wife as if she was being difficult for simply wanting the correct order. In the end, we decided to just eat the chicken dishes since it was already 10pm. Unfortunately, the chicken was dry and not better than what we had originally ordered.

We ordered a platter for two and it was delicious. I enjoyed the decor, it made me feel like I was on vacation. This Croatian restaurant is family-run and Luka took good care of us. The beer on tap, 5 lamps, was great. However, they do close a bit early. It's a casual dining spot and I will definitely be returning for more.

The service was slow and the portion sizes were small for the price. The grilled food was greasy and the flatbread was tough, stale, and also greasy. The seats were extremely uncomfortable. I would have gotten better food at SuperMacs instead.

I really loved the meat platter for two at this restaurant. It came with sausages, skewered meats, grilled vegetables, and a tasty roasted pepper sauce. The atmosphere was charmingly shabby chic and had a lively vibe. The service and food were fantastic, but remember to bring your own wine. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other dishes, like a vegetarian or seafood option.

I ordered a variety of food online for my family and we were all impressed with the excellent quality. Both adults and kids enjoyed the diverse options available. The website was user-friendly and our delivery arrived on time. The restaurant offers a unique and delicious menu that sets it apart from others in town. Kudos to the owners for their innovative concept, especially during these challenging times. I can't wait to dine in at the restaurant once things return to normal.
