Bidrage med feedbackLe Vieux Tacot is not a restaurant but a snack truck (ignore the picture; where did that come from? parked between Le Petit and Le Grand Travers, which you approach from the Carnon end of the now one-way road (D59 between Carnon and La Grand Motte at Beach Access Point 70. Run by Sam and his wife Nicole, often aided by one of their daughters during the peak summer season, Le Vieux Tacot offers tremendous value and good quality food with a personal touch that explain the devoted clientele that often eats there every day on beach days during their summer vacations. The offerings, mostly generous sandwiches made with baguettes, range from simple merguez with harissa to chopped steak sandwiches with good quality cheeses and french fries (pick your sauce: BBQ, samurai, ketchup, harissa, etc. or the classic pain bagnat of Nice. Nothing fancy about the setting, and sometimes you're lucky to get one of the 4-5 tables with sun umbrella, but you can always take your meal back to the beach if you like. Sam is always prepared to package it up in various boxes or trays he has on hand. When a family of 4-5 can eat for less than EUR 30, what is not to like? No phone, no reservations, but a must for our family for more than 15 years...
Hawt damnWhy are their reviews so low? This is the best bowl of noodles we had in all of Paris and in all of Europe.
Must go! We were on our walk up to Moulin Rouge when I was hit with this amazing smell, I mean utter bliss.

Hand pulled noodles tasted really good whether it be stir fry or soup noodles.
