After one year and several family lunches in this place, I must say they are one of the best places to go in this area. As in all places they struggled to find people to manage service, but this summer in spite of deep frequentation, they found the right and efficient persons. Food is fresh and good, from appetizers to desserts. I just wish they can renew their menus some time and also accept more payment means. For French tourists this would be a real improvement. Otherwise, good luck for their second year.
Our friends recommended Badiane, so we decided to have lunch. We arrived and after a few minutes, the wait staff came by to review the daily menu. About 15 minutes passed before asking if we wanted an aperitif, which we ordered. The beverages arrived about 15 minutes later (30 minutes after arriving at the restaurant) when we placed our food order. During this time we were not offered water or bread and no explanation or apology for the delay. Nearly 30 (additional) minutes later (one hour after we arrived at the restaurant) our food arrived. At that point we were not asked if we would like a second drink or again, no apology for the long wait. We were also offended when other guests who had arrived after us were served and finished their meal before ours arrived. Our meal was fine, although nothing exceptional. A very disappointing experience and we won’t return!
My husband and I were very happy to find this great restaurant before going to the Lavender Museum right nearby. The loup sea bass was so delicious that we returned to eat it one more time on the way to the Avignon TGV station. The staff is very friendly, there is both in and outdoor seating, and the prices are reasonable.
The choice of the card is quite limited, but we understand quickly why. everything is fresh and largely homemade. the calf rib is excellent as beef and burger. The gourmet coffee is also very good. perfect service
Very warm welcome, enjoled terrace, we took excellent homemade foie gras, then a grilled salmon with a virgin sauce, a goat crottin with an excellent dessert of olive oil a homemade chocolate also melt, we are festivated, I recommend
