Angelo's Pizza - Mattoon

I was excited to eat here. I used to eat at Angelo's many years ago. The place was nice and clean as expected, and the wait staff were stellar. However, the food was not what I remembered at all. I ordered the lasagna and it was not very good at all. I have to admit I was very disappointed. I was in a hurry so i ate then had to go.

Great stuffed pizza and spaghetti. Great local Restaurant for stuffed pizza.Me and my husband ordered a small mushroom and sausage pizza. Tasted great, I love the sweet marinara sauce. Crust was well done which I like.Service was friendly. We had a group of 10 people. Everyone was served on time. My nephew loved the spaghetti and meatball.I 'm from Georgia...so I never had stuffed pizza. This is a new Favorite.

Local family owned restaurant with great portions size and economical. Highly recommended try the Chicken

The tenderloins were terrible and they charge extra for anything more than mayonnaise. The chilli Mac was bland and watery and we got charged extra for asking for some chopped onions and cheese. To top it off, we all felt sick for most of the day. I would never recommend this place. OAN: the waitress was very attentive and efficient. She was the best part of the entire experience.

In the area and decided to eat here for dinner. Staff was friendly and very professional. Restaurant was very clean and bright inside. Did not have to wait long for food after we ordered. The thin crust pizza tasted amazing. My daughter had the lasagna and she said it was very good. Will stop here again when I am in the area.
