Velopops - Matthews

I really wanted to give 5 stars, but unfortunately I cannot. I contacted Velo Pops for catering services for my wedding. The initial response was quick and gave me all the information I needed. I replied with the necessary details for the event, but despite numerous attempts to follow up and book my wedding date, I received no response. I called the store and was promised a call back from the owner, which never happened. I tried the phone number provided in the initial email, but still got no response. I also sent multiple emails to the catering email address with little success. Eventually, a team member responded to one of my emails apologizing for the oversight and promising that the owner would reach out to book the event. This team member was the only reason I considered continuing to do business with them, due to their helpfulness and empathy. However, less than 60 days away from my wedding, I still have not spoken to anyone to book the services. I understand the busy summer season, but I expected better communication. I am disappointed and had been looking forward to providing this treat to my wedding guests. If catering services are listed as offered, they should be available. It is unprofessional and inexcusable to have such poor communication, especially when a customer is reaching out through multiple channels. As of today, I have still not heard anything from Velo Pops regarding my September wedding.

I was not impressed with the popsicles at this restaurant, and they were overpriced. I tried the vanilla flavor, which tasted bland and just like 2% milk, so I would not recommend it. My wife ordered the blueberry lime flavor, but it was mainly lime with barely any blueberry taste. The staff were friendly but lacked knowledge about their products. Currently, they only offer curbside orders.

This place has natural homemade eispops. the fruit pops are vegan and some cream pops are vegan. I had the pineapple and cocose and it was like a piña colada. delicious!

Blueberries and lime it's so good and fresh for summer, recommended!

The best pops around town! They are super friendly, have wonderful customer service, and they are dog friendly! We love to sit outside with our pup and get her a puppy friendly pop as well! Will always be back (no matter the time of year!
