Steady Eddy's Pumphouse - Matthews

I absolutely adore this local bar! The food is excellent, especially the half-price wings on Mondays. The beer cheese mac and cheese is one of my personal favorites, and I love watching them prepare the food right in front of me. The drinks are reasonably priced, and although the place may appear small from the outside, it is surprisingly spacious once you step inside. There is a comfortable downstairs area and an outdoor patio with seating. This hidden gem is definitely worth a visit.

A great local bar. Not much to look at from the street, but inside it's cozy and friendly with small but efficient bar and kitchen. Behind the building is a patio with tables, games and a stage for bands. Way casual, low key, chill.Food: 4/5

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! It was a fantastic experience! My husband mentioned that the burger he had was one of the best he's ever eaten. The onion rings were hand-breaded and delicious. The salad was extremely fresh and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. The outdoor seating area had a charming ambiance. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! I would rate the food 5 out of 5.

It's a clean yet honest dive... Delicious simple food, good pricing, service with a smile! It's a large building having as it does a basement and outside seating so it does get busy. It's a local spot with great people! Highly recommend!!!Food: 4/5

It always blows my mind how good the food is here. Best burger in the area by far and the cheesesteak is pretty solid too. It's a bar first/restaurant second, so the atmosphere can be a little dicey if you've got kids with you, but I've never had any issues bringing my kids for lunch several times probably wouldn't bring them later though. Not a knock on the establishment, that's just their vibe, which is perfectly fine with me.
