Zhōng Fú - Matsuura

House lunch for ¥1,200 includes a hamburger, white fish fry, and pork topped with melted cheese. It comes with rice. While not exceptional, it was very delicious. I wish there was soup considering the price. This is definitely a traditional Western-style restaurant in the old town. The woman working in the dining area wore a somewhat nostalgic uniform. It was lunchtime when I visited, but there was only one other group of customers. Perhaps it was just a coincidence. In these difficult times of the pandemic, I hope that all such individually run, homemade-feel restaurants can continue to thrive.

The atmosphere, menu, taste, pricing, and even the tableware... everything about this restaurant is truly "Showa era". It's not exceptionally delicious, but certainly not bad! It's not exceptionally cheap either... but that Showa vibe... it feels like that fancy restaurant you would dress up and go to on special occasions in your childhood. It's irresistibly charming, and a place you will want to visit again!

I went for a lunch during work hours, and it was delicious. I would like to go again at night and enjoy a leisurely meal next time.

レモンステーキは中福さんが一番美味しい

この『外観』が、もう本当に昭和的で良い。 旧いが、清潔な雰囲気。 赤レンガが懐かしさを感じさせる。 店内も適度に手入れがされ、お店の全盛期もイメージさせてくれた。 きっと、沢山の家族連れの方々が来られたのだろうなぁ。 ちょうどすぐ後に入って来られた御家族の小さな男の子が『ぼく、レモンステーキ！』と席に着く前からリクエストしていたので、それに倣って同じレモンステーキ定食を頼んだ。 本家？の時代屋さんとはまた違った美味しさ。 海鮮屋にせず、ふと見つけたコチラへ来て良かったかも。 ステーキ自体は薄く量的にも多くは無いがまた食べたくなるソースとレモンの酸っぱさがやはり、良い。 店員のおばさん方も愛想良く丁寧。 ずっとあるといいな、こんなお店。 駐車場は数台程度店舗前に駐車可能。
