Rumah Makan Suranadi - Mataram

Fresh and great tasting foods! I tried Beberuk for the first time and it was so good! They serve perfectly seasoned Lombok style foods. Good portion, fair ambiance and great taste!

This restaurant existence is quite extraordinary. Our late father bring us here ages ago and we loved it since. As a big family we always come here on any celebration or just have family dinner. We invite local and foreign friends and they all enjoyed it. The package meal is always on which includes a bowl of rice, fried chicken, omelette, chicken shredded meat with coconut sauce, water spinach with lombok spicy sauce and a bowl of chicken and vegetables soup. Side dishes for us is usually deep fried fish with lombok sauce and or spicy grill chicken. The restaurant has other menu as well but those are our favorite. The package is minimum for 2 person but I can enjoy it as one. The restaurant also serve soda and especially my local beer, Bintang. Only large though! Quite recently a swimming pool is added next to it but as a separate business you need to pay to use this facility. We love this restaurant and always eager to have meal there. We have our favorite waiter Agus, which we called prior to arrival and make our order so when we reached the place our favorite table is cleaned and ready for us and not long after, our special food is served.

Always a favorite place to eat with family. Guests can choose whether to sit at berugak (lesehan) or to have table seatings at the main building. Our favorite menu is the Suranadi package. One package can be enjoyed by 2-4 person. It consists of Pelecing (water spinach, been sprout, dessicated coconut with hot, tomato shrimp sauce) and, ayam pelalah (shredded chicken cooked with spicy coconutmilk), ayam goreng (free-range fried chicken), telur goreng gulung (rolled ommelette that look like a bread), veg-chicken soup and rice. We usually add sate pusut or hot grilled fish (Tilapia). Guests can get olah-olah (another vegetable based menu) as a compliment when ordering at least two Suranadi packages. The traditional menu looks simple but actually takes time to prepare, so better to reserve a place and make order in advance (30 min before arriving) by phone. Awesome swimming pool, my kids love this place a lot. Also, they have amazing menu for my personal taste.
