Thai Royal - Matamata

On a cold winter day with a rain and snow torm, having a warm soup for lunch was what we needed. And we got it here. A nice Tom Yum Gai and some house made spring roles. It was delicious.

Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday early evening. Lovely friendly lady served us Foos was very tasty. Shared a mixed entree and had a meal wach from specials menu. Reccomend and wi be back

My wife and I decided to have a small dinning out night with our sister and brother inlaw . A great choice as it turned out as both the service and meal were excellent. We all had a great social family evening out. A nice comfortable licensed venue I have to say.

Got takeaway today after wanting to try the food for a few months. Food was delicious. I had the green curry with prawns and i was very pleased with it. Thank you, we will be returning.

After checking the reviews we realised the place can be hit and miss. Portion sizes were good compared to other Thai restaurants. The chicken was dry and not marinated. The fried rice was tasty but not outstanding. The spring rolls water tiny but there were a fair amount in a portion. In general a satisfying meal but we wouldn't make an effort to come back for it when there are quite a few other places to try out around here.
