Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant/ trattoria was advised by our hotel. no idea whether there was an economic advantage, but that was not important. after the arrival there was a guy who led the traffic! but because we made a reservation from our hotel, we immediately became a table...(still the choice to sit inside/outside/ terrace) we ordered pizza (like most people), the pizza came fast and was the thin crispy variant and tasted as it should. after that the tiramisu, panna cotta and caffè have lifted it. the next day we didn't want to look for another restaurant. without reservation we went back, fortunately the experience was recommended again the same!
I have eaten icios pizza essentially forever. my family and I were loved with back when they were in another place, called il caminetto many years back. her pizza is simply amazing. her thin crust is very soft but. crisp, and really delicious. Above all, they have a large selection of toppings, from classic to local and unusual ingredients, including many seasonal ingredients (e.g. white asparagus of bassano del grappa, or torcolato-infused cheese, etc). the only negative comment would be the fact that this place tends to be very busy, and sometimes loud, despite the great size (and it became bigger and bigger, since it opened years back). however, quality never suffered.
My Italian colleague brought me to eat here. we started with foam wine, then drove on white beer, then sweet wine and ended with grappa. that were the drinks through the meal. the Brabant beer was particularly refreshing! the meal had the quintessential pizza. very typical of the region. toppings of thunfish, sink, pumpkin on a thin crust pizza in a wood oven was simply so delicious with the layer of the melted cheese in between. just so beautiful! the ritter was packed and their service was fast. the wine and spiritual selection was impressive. the interieur was cozy and they had a simple parking space right outside. free wifi too. I loved the experience!
So I have friends in Vicenza, and ever since I arrived to italy they wouldnt let me order pizza in any other restaurant we went to, they said to me all the time just wait, you have to try it in the right place we're...taking you soon so I just tried other dishes instead. Finally the day came when we went to this restaurant, and I was blown away!!! Pizzas are just amazing! It was definitely worth the wait. I had the fromaggio con funghi cheese pizza with mushroom) and pepperoni. Ohh just the best ever!! The place is so romantic and nice, perfect for even just having drinks! After the pizza, I tried different wines and licors of the region, such a relaxing atmosphere. I loved it in every way, after that day I was begging my friends to bring me back to dinner to this place! The pizza here is definitely one of the highlights of my trip in Italy! Can't wait go to back in the future!
This pizzeria is very popular and good. We went on a Sun eve, and it was packed with a wait. We had reserved, so we got in right away (in the children's room, but they were cute though room a little too bright). The pizzas...are very thin-crusted, crisp and not doughy at all. Wei ordered two medium salads, which were actually pretty large. You decide what you want for your salad. We got one with funghi and tuna and one with seafood. The base for each was carrot and tomatoes and greens. You make your own dressing. Little choice in by-the-glass wines. This is more of a beer joint, but my prosecco and then cab were pretty good, the cab slightly frissante It is closed Monday and Tuesday, or we would return.
