China Buffet - Mason City

They do a great Job here except one thing that has changed, they are asking for a tip when you prepay for your food. These tips go straight into the till and the person that works at cleaning gets nothing of it, the only way she gets a tip is if you give it as cash. DON’T LEAVE A TIP AT THE REGISTER

We dined in on Saturday evening. Surprised that there were only a handful of diners at 5-6pm. The salad bar and buffet were fully stocked and fresh. The hot entrées were hot and full of a large variety of choices to choose from. Everything we tried tasted delicious! The sushi bar was very impressive. Lots of creativity and choices...but I found the taste to be lacking somewhat.

Usually pretty good! They've been around since I was a kid so probably about 15 or so years. They made a lot of great changes to the interior into their food selection. There have been days where the food wasn't as good as other days but 9/10 it's very good!

I've been going to China buffett for many years! I've learned to go when it is busy and then the food is so fresh and amazing!

It was a buffet lunch. The place was busy but food was replaced quickly. The food taste good but at times may have sat too long at warming table. Good desserts.
