Idria - Mascali

Yummmm! we were staying close to Idria and decided to stop for a traditional breakfast one morning. At first we ordered the brioche with ice cream, however we were advised to have it with granita. Idria offer a wide selection of granita flavours, we tried; mandorla, caffe, pistacchio vanilla, and they were all delicious. It was really a treat to remember!

I spent days with my sister and my brother-in-law. in that area and every day we had breakfast at the idria pastry shop. what to say the fantastic pastry shop. the sublimate oranges. but dulcis in fundo la cassata. prepared with love only for us. thanks to the exquisiteness and kindness of the owner. It was a real treat from the libidine. I recommend to all. to get the real Sicilian. wolf paola
