Golden Chicken - Maryborough

I stopped by for lunch to see how it compared to Super Rooster in Toowoomba. The service was friendly and fast. The chips were delicious and I highly recommend them. The chicken fillet burger was okay, but it doesn't quite compare to Super Rooster. It was tasty, but not the best. Stick to the chips.

If I could give this shambles of a place zero stars I would. First I was assured the schnitzels were big, it was tiny as the photo shows. Next they got my order completely wrong. Girl with blonde hair with yellow scrunchie told me off and blamed me for it. Then her and the girl who took my order had a pow wow behind the counter. They concluded I ordered vegetables. I didn’t even know they did vegetables. The older lady said that’s what the girls heard me say. How could I say it if I didn’t know it was on the menu. In the end the food was horrible, the customer service was disgraceful. The blond girl’s customer service was nothing short of embarrassing. As a tourist if this is the best Maryborough can do then I’m glad I don’t live here.

I needed a nearby spot for a quick takeout dinner and stumbled upon this place. It offered great value and wonderful service, with a wide variety of options to choose from. They even had a convenient drive-thru available. To my surprise, the food exceeded my expectations - the chicken schnitzel with vegetables and chips was delicious. I will definitely be ordering that again!

It was a bit greasy but still delicious! The chips where great and so where the staff! they where friendly and nice to talk to. i would go here again!!!

The wife and l have been here a couple of times while traveling. Very efficient friendly staff, and the food ain't bad either. A wide range of meals available, l would highly recommend this store
