Firebox55 - Martinsburg

We 've been a couple times in recent months for lunch and dinner. Smoked chicken, Mac n cheese, collards, Reuben, fries, pulled pork with a nice selection of sauces. All excellent! Oh but those horrible orange chairs!!! Those I cannot recommend unless you 're a kid or a skinny Minnie. We moved to the outside dining area which is really quite grand actually. Another off putting experience was that the server kept referring to us as guys and we 're a senior hetero couple. Guys, how is everything? And on and on like that. Numerous times. LOL! Going again tonight with some guys (friends) for Wings Wednesday.

Delicious food! Great outdoor seating, small amount of indoor seating. Cocktails a bit on the weak side for the price. Overall nice atmosphere and service.

Amazing food, great drinks, affordable pricing and the friendliest staff in all of Berkeley County. Earned my business for life on the very first visit!! Well done!

I wasn't sure what to expect since this place is in the end of an office park type area but once again Yelp didn't fail me. They weren't crowded on a weekday mid-afternoon and have seating inside and outside on the patio. They also have a bar inside and a sign mentioned live music on Friday and Saturday nights We sat inside and service was fast and very friendly.Food was the best BBQ I've had in quite a while. I was hungry after hiking part of the Western MD Rail Train and portions were so large I barely finished my meal. The tasty pulled pork wasn't fatty and had an interesting seasoning on top which I enjoyed. They have a bunch of different BBQ sauces and I enjoyed them all but liked their original sauce the best with its cumin flavor. The Appalachian beans were something unique I haven't seen elsewhere and the collard greens tasted freshly made. I enjoyed both sides and also liked their 1/2 sweet 1/2 unsweet tea. I didn't see ribs on the menu so not sure if they don't serve them at all or just didn't have any this day.I was too full for dessert but had a butter scotch pudding to go and enjoyed that later that evening.I'd back here for sure if I was in the area and looking for tasty BBQ.
