Zahtar - MAROOCHYDORE

We came here with a Groupon voucher we purchased. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals were very nice. Would recommend this as a spot for breakfast

In contrast to most of the other reviewers, we had a very average meal. We ordered what was billed as 'tapas' to share, but the haloumi kebab was only one skewer, and the bed of salad was DRENCHED in oily dressing. The Zahtar fritters and falafel were too salty to enjoy the spices. And when we ordered small baklava for dessert, we got sweets that weren't what I'd call baklava - maybe the Lebanese have a different name for the layers of filo & nuts drenched in butter and honey? Service was very attentive when we arrived early but after our food came we were ignored.

Had an extremely good dinner, the meal was good quality, service was excellent and by the end of the meal i was full and satisfied.

I took the Mezza Platter and it was the best falafels I ever had! I liked the Baba Ghanoush too, good discovery! My boyfriend had meat and all was fresh, tasty and of quality.The team is attentive and the prices worth the quality and the size of the dishes!I think it's one of the best restaurant where I have been on the Sunny Coast, I definitely recommend Zahtar!

Lovely service Genuine Lebanese food Coffee has us lost for words how good it is! Best soy latte and affagato we've found on the Sunshine Coast! A must visit if you like to eat out
