Bidrage med feedbackWe happened upon this restaurant on our way to the Abbey Fontenay. It was like stepping back into the good ole days of France where food was hearty, homecooked and delicious. The menu du jour was 12.5E. First course offerings were salad lyonnaise with saucisse pistache, melon with smoked ham or poached eggs with sauce chibolette. Then poached lieu or brochette of polet. And for dessert cheese plate, fromage blanc or a spectacular pear tart amandine. Very popular with locals but seemingly undiscovered by tourists. Long live the French family restaurant!
Load up a card with cash and choose your own wines! Wine machines (similar to soda or frozen yogurt machines) line the walls.
