Long wait time. I had to asl for bread 3 times before getting it, but it was the waitresses first day. They accommodated my dairy allergy and the food was good. Menus out of date aparently but they honored the prices still.
I ordered from the website because the Doordash app was down. When I got home and tried the food, I realized it was made with chicken and uncooked broccoli, despite ordering broccoli, black olives, and fresh mozzarella as toppings. They only included a spoonful of ricotta and no other cheese. I was hesitant to call at first due to a busy schedule, but eventually did and spoke to a manager who offered to make a new one for free and even gave me dessert for the inconvenience. Apparently, they were training a new staff member. I went back to pick up the new calzone the next day and even though I had to reheat it, it was much better. I'm glad I followed up. The photos show the original calzone, but I forgot to take a picture of the new one. It looked like a typical Bertuccis calzone when I received it.
Bertucci's, a chain restaurant, was a pleasant surprise. The warm rolls brought to our table were delicious. We ordered two lunch-size flatbread pizzas and found the crust to be of high quality with interesting toppings. The service was a bit slow, but the restaurant got very busy after we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. It seemed like everyone was ordering pizza and there was only one person working the fire-grilling area, which I could see from my seat. Overall, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised.
The food at this restaurant was excellent and the service was great. On my last visit, Kelli went above and beyond to assist us and was very friendly and accommodating towards my picky five-year-old.
