Golden Horse Restaurant - Markham

Today, after a chaotic shopping experience at Markville Mall, my family and I decided to dine at Golden Horse Restaurant. I ordered the pork leg with rice, my son had the chicken fillet with rice, and my wife ordered the minced pork noodle soup and a chicken leg salad. Both my son's and my meal came with soup and a hot drink. The portions were generous and delicious. The total cost of the meal was affordable. Although we forgot to take any pictures, we were extremely satisfied with the exceptional value and plan to return in the future.

Enjoy a delicious soup noodle during afternoon tea time, accompanied by a choice of Hong Kong style tea or other hot beverages, all for a great price plus tax and tips. The noodle soup is fantastic.

This restaurant caters to everyone. We like to come here for their affordable Hong Kong breakfast options like noodle soup with eggs, ham, sausage, and toast. I usually alternate between the pork chop cutlet sandwich with tomato, lettuce, and pickle or the oat and egg sandwich. All breakfast items come with a choice of coffee/tea, lemon tea, or milk tea. I frequent this place often and have never been let down; the service is quick and friendly.

This is a typical Hong Kong style cafe with good selection of breakfast and lunch items, along with smooth HK milk tea. Its Chinese name is Macau village so their specialty is the pork cutlet baguette, which is quite good. They have special lunch menu...as well as afternoon tea specials, which comes with soup for lunch and tea/coffee for the afternoon. Food quality is good, and you get a free newspaper in the morning during breakfast. Parking is very limited, as the place is small and in a crowded strip mall.
