Bidrage med feedbackSpecially choose this restaurant because of the reviews I read.. I love Yang chow fried rice…one of my most favourite dishes.. simple but tasty.. It was more expensive then the online menu showed but I was hopeful it was worth it. The portion was huge but that was the best part. It lacked flavour.. the pork pieces were very very tiny.. the shrimp were good but not as many as I thought should be in there…it was not greasy at all which was a bonus.. but it lacked any scrambled egg…the colour of the rice was what it should be… green scallions added some flavour but until I added salt to it..,I wasn’t enjoying it. I rated it 3/5 as I have had better. One time try for me. The restaurant was quite busy so they must do something right. Chinese patrons know their stuff.. so being.just regular middle aged woman I must keep up my quest out for awesome Yang Chow!..
Kung Hei Fat Choi! Happy Lunar New Year! It's the year of the Rabbit. I stopped in at Fancy Chinese Restaurant with a friend for dim sum. It's located close to our workplace. We had a variety of dim sum items, including the standard favourites, siu mai, har gow, and curry squid. Overall, we had more than enough food for the two of us and just enough for my friend to take some for lunch the next day. While the food was decent, I've had better dim sum from other places. The service, however, was good.
We enjoyed the fresh lobsters, deep fried fish and lobster fried rice. its halibut with taro was super delicious. service was professional and attentive. each table was kept distanced with screen dividers. staff worn masks. Highly recommend.
Customer service is absolutely trash. Came here to order two lobster combo's, one for 6 people and one for 4 people. One combo came with Sweet and Sour pork and I told them I can't eat pork if that could be changed to chicken. They told me no and to order sweet and sour chicken as a separate dish. Price of both dishes a la carte is the same price but they wouldn't do it. Spoke to manager and still wouldn't do it, says they can't. I told them to cancel my orders then. But they didn't care. $200 of business during a pandemic waved goodbye rather than accommodate customers simple request. What kind of trash business management is this? Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.
I would rate Zero if I could. It has been my worst experience at a restaurant. Today I was waiting for my orders there. I was told to check back in around 10 minutes but over 20 minutes they were not ready yet. Due to my time schedule was tight so I asked a waitress if my order could get ready sooner. They checked and told me not ready yet. Then I waited there and said nothing. After I picked up my order and went to a corner table packing my stuff before leaving, I heard the waitress said I was Crazy and Idiot in Cantonese. She didn't know I was still there. So I explained to her i was rush according to a schedule, and I never blamed them being slow. I was a customer without complaining, so definitely she shouldn't Verbally Abuse a customer like me. The boss and manager (a man) told me over 80% of their customers were satisfied and Asked me to Leave the restaurant Immediately, Otherwise He will Call the Police. I was quite shock to what he said. The Abusive Waitress/Receptionist never apologized and turned her face aside when I was talking to her manager. They didn't feel bad or wrong about what they did to the customer at all. No wonder this manager/boss trained Abusive staffs. If I left earlier, I would never know the staff abused me for nothing and the boss/manager allowed her. I will never go there and not recommend anyone to go there for the meals. People want to spend money on enjoying delicious food without being verbally abused behind us. I would go to the restaurants being grateful and appreciative for their customers.
