Poinsett Cafe - Marked Tree

Walked in the door at 12:00. Sat down then right behind us 5 guys come in sit down at the table beside us. They got their drink order in and drinks before we had a chance to order ours. By the time my wife and I got our drinks the other table is eating. We had just ordered by then and after two people saying let me check on your order we get our food at 12:50. The other group has eaten and paid and gone. The catfish was off flavor and not cooked enough. I know what you’re thinking that he doesn’t know what is on flavor and not. Your wrong I grew up building catfish ponds and I mean 100’s of them I know catfish. My wife left half of her chicken fried steak sandwich. I did not comment on the way out simply not to be rude. Now after careful consideration I am posting this. We were passing through and I think they take care of their locals first and if they have time will eventually get to you. Go back? NO

Good food and it's not expensive like everywhere else is these days. And the people that work here are really nice too.

Had the cheeseburger and fries. The waitress didn't know any orders just different, order took a while it says it on the door lol. But with all that said it's a good little spot to eat at in the area that doesn't hardly have any restaurants available.

Great service and food great mom and pop restaurant.
