Il Lido - Marina di Grosseto

I ate here almost every day for a week in the summer of 2015 and had an authentic Italian feast (with some ice cream to cool down from the heat) every time. Buonissimo!

It's been since I was born that I came to this seaside resort, and before me my parents and grandparents came here. The entrance building is made of wood, modern and cute, reminiscent of nautical and sails. The bar is run by the owners with some helpers, good sandwiches with prices maybe a little over the average. In the evening it turns into a restaurant with pizza and fish straight. Going to the beach you pass through 2 beach volleyball courts and 3 beach tennis courts. Here sports fanatics spend hours under the sun playing. This establishment is in fact perfect for those who want to do physical activity with friends and participate in the tournaments that take place during the summer (if you hate the casino though, avoid this place . The beach is very deep, as in the whole Marina, there are 10/15 rows of umbrellas, all quite large, but with sunbed and deck chairs depending on the requests. It is always quite windy at the shore, but it is not annoying but rather helps to mitigate the heat. Water always moved and cloudy. We now come here by tradition, but if you are looking for group dances, relaxation or alternative activities, this place is not the best. SPORT and only SPORT. The owners and who work there are nice, but I sometimes heard some customers complain.
