Tahntawan Thai Kitchen - Marina del Rey

Fantastic Thai food, very thoughtful owners and they're working hard during COVID-19 to provide the best dining experience possible. Limited patio dining on second floor overlooks surroundings. Authentic enough to pass for real Thai food. Chef also cooks Vietnamese pho and Chinese cusine. Great little place to try.

This place is great. Super authentic and delicious pad Thai (I've been to Thailand), and it came out in 3 minutes after I ordered! They're nice, the vibe is bright and vibrant, and the prices are fair. Very happy they are here

The food was good. But it was just good. The flavors were not there for me. Red curry was good, but I could not taste these traditional flavors compared to other local places. We were on a Thai food search and all tried to get Marina Del Rey. The food was average, there is just too much competition. It is worth a try as every taste buds are different. Parking: You have a small parking lot. We have the last place at 6:30 on Friday.

In the 30 years I have eaten Thai food in cities in the USA, including the big ones like Los Angeles, this is easily the worst food and service I have ever had, Thai food or other. The food was unusable, for example by the fresh fish, which was clearly frozen. The fish was served raw (see photo). The dinner served as a snack size, but apparently served larger than the lunch (info purchased upon request). The bill was also not cheap, which is why I am trying to share this incessant review. When I went with my colleague, we went to a second restaurant to actually eat.
