Pats Kitchen - Marietta

I got the turkey wing with dressing, Mac and cheese and cabbage. I’m gonna be honest, The mac cheese was bland not seasoned at all, the noodles were severely over cooked. The cabbage was plain and had an aftertaste of like pork or something but not seasoned. The turkey wings were seasoned OK but they were a little dry not the best I’ve had. the dressing and the gravy, or the giblet that they had along with the turkey meat was weird. The dressing was OK but I had a heavy aftertaste of sage or some type of seasoning and the gravy was bland and had some chunks of white stuff in it I’m not sure what it was maybe it was the turkey meat but it tasted funny.

I have the smothered beef tips. Husband had the baked chicken! First let me say the people here are so nice and inviting! With that being said, we waited about 15 minutes for our plates. The sides I got were Mac n cheese and yams and the mac n cheese was water down no cheese at all more like it was made with a soup base. The beef tips were seasoned nice but the rice was extremely undercooked. It was crunchy and the beef tips were served over top- so it was very difficult to pick through the uncooked rice! My husband also didn’t enjoy his meal. Maybe we came on a bad day.

This was our first time eating at Pat's Kitchen. The food and service was great! The atmosphere is very home-like. We'll definitely be back!
