Boat House Bbq - Marietta

Our first time we sat outside, place was pretty busy. Waited for a few minutes on a server, but once we got a waitress, the service was very good. We had the buffalo chips with Brisket and Speck. They were brilliant (even if the bride was a bit cold). I had pulled pig, brisket and turkey. My son had wings. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge. Our server mentioned that the hostess had called and they were shorthanded. And I was a waitress, and I know the fights to be busy and be short. So our overall experience was great and I'll be back.

Great view, excellent waiter and food was on what you would expect. A small hole in the wall type space with local taste. It's worth the ride of 77 when you're on the way. Service was brilliant, but at a slower pace, then most people have to expect, but we loved the look at the Ohio River and did not really notice it.

That was my first visit to Boathouse BBQ. I had the best birthday ribs ever! The five-inch chocolate cheesecake was the best. If I had known that the food and the atmosphere was as good as it was, I would have been here earlier. The only acidic note of the evening was the couple who complained during most of the hour, claiming that they had to wait one and a half hours to get their food.

Food was great as always... we had fried pimples and onion rings for appetizers and the pimples were the best I had anywhere. Love this place and the atmosphere and would recommend to everyone

This place is always awesome, but today was the best. The bartender/server was excellent. She was rocking that bar, and the tables, and our steaks weren’t cooked how we wanted (still excellent tho) so she had them remade for us. I didn’t catch her name but Server ID 50: you rocked it out! We’ll definitely be back!
