Sidro - Maribor

We were in Sidro last weekend and although there are many customers at the local, we got our food very fast and the food was delicious, a great thumb for the staff, you do a good job all. My husband asked one of the employees if we could have a free table and although a table was reserved for the next 2 hours, they let us eat a table that was super great and open minded, we enjoyed the wonderful view

We, where in a group of 10, eating was great, great service and friendly / helpful staff. recommend to all who love pizza, burger, pasta and salats

Although closed for more than six months, it was worth the wait! Very nicely renovated, with beautiful surroundings, next to the Drava river. Delicious pizza and pasta dishes! Very friendly staff.

Right on the shore of the Drava river sits this partially hidden restaurant called Sidro or Anchor in English. They mainly offer pizzas, but also have salads, burgers and some deserts on their menu. The place is huge and well decorated with a travel and nautical/boating theme. The food was great, we all ordered pizzas. Very nicely topped and just the right crisp to the crust. The staff is very helpful and seem to be in good spirits, which makes you feel right at home. Afterwards you can go out and walk on the nearby pier and just enjoy the river scenery. It's a bit outside of Maribor, but well worth it.

The best pizza spot you can find around Maribor. Renovated just a short while ago, it brings the premium feel to its interior, the staff, and the food on offer. Amazing crust, delicious cheese, and not a single pizza variety that can be complained about. The prices reflect the quality, but it is worth it to make your way there if you want a great experience with family, work colleagues, or anyone else you would prefer to treat to a reliable, high quality outing.
