Canneto Beach 2 - MARGHERITA DI SAVOIA

At the distant end of a beachfront promenade is this beautiful restaurant. There are plenty of outdoor tables whilst the interior would put Parisian Palaces to shame .Fabulous House Champagne was €10 for a lovely big glass .Fish was a strong point and lobster spaghetti was excellent . It was € 40 whilst most other dishes were half that .Staff were friendly and not troubled by a well behaved 19 month old .I am bemused as to why it lacks a Michelin star.Everything was homemade including a divine Tiramisu. Olive oil was biblical . My only criticism is that the wine list was only accessible by a QR code . A printed list would enable one to readily identify grape , vintage, price . There is a wine shop attached and it sells take out bottles at low retail prices . We loved it so much we went twice in 24 hours !

This is a gem hidden in the small adriatic town of Margherita di Savoia. The restaurant is very welcoming and offering tables both inside and outside close to the beach. It's family owned and one can tell from the care they put in taking care of their guest. Ok let's talk about the food: awesome. Presentation, freshness, flavor combinations are inventive and well paired. Great selection of wine. If you are within 35 miles you want to pay a visit and explore the inventiveness of both the baker and the chef. They also have a small shop at the entrance with a curated selection of wines, liquors and local products pastas they sell Arte pasta), jams,etc)

This is by far the best restaurant in town. Food is tasty and well decorated and very affordable. Staff are very attentive and nice. Highly recommended.

I arrived at 21.30 on a Sunday night without any booking. I did not expect such an excellent service, great seafood cuisine, delicious dessert in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. A place where I would like to go back to browse their whole menu!

Delicious food, great wine list, affordable prices, and very accommodating to me and my two young children. I highly recommend this restaurant.
