Doboo - Mardin

Stale sebusek( it's a shame for the place pretending serving local foods), stale salad, doboo dish's rice not well cooked and it's meat chewy/hard meat( menu shows it cooked 8 hours, should be tender even if you cook couple of hours) almonds were good I don't recommend the place, except the view. Waiters are good. Prices are really high what you get. Manzara dışında gitmeye değmez.

The Place is clean and fresh, the service is is good, two workers were helpful and friendly but the one who took the orders seemed not very interested in his job! In general, the food was good but pricey.

Coming from Ankara, the prices were reasonable for a restaurant with such a great view, but definitely not very cheap. The view was totally amazing, so try to make a reservation in advance to have a seating with a better view. I wouldn't suggest to ask for a mixed menu as there are no prices written on the menu for that. It is always better to choose from the a la carte menu. Maybe the only downside was the restaurant doesn't offer alcohol. We tried doboo (a Suryani dish), Mardin kebap, and dolma. All of them were super tasty.

Traditional delicious flavours with in a contemporary touch athmosphere (menu, decoration, presentation with superb Mardin hospitality! Strongly recommended :

One of Mardin's best restaurants, serving traditional and regional dishes: kaburga domlasi, doboo, ikbebet, irok, and others. The quality of the cooking here is excellent and the portions are a good value. Additionally, the terrace is a picturesque location with a view of the old city.
