Bidrage med feedbackNormal bar on the waterfront of Marciana Marina. We had a quick lunch. Few choice, high prices and poor portions. A simple ham and cheese sandwich 9€ plus 1.5 covered. Good risotto, but in fact it was half a serving. Gentles in service.
Apart from recent years, it's the second time I come to this place, because I wanted to be sure of my review. I don't understand why he's not very popular, but he's practically on the sea and he's eating very well. Evidently the other restaurants of Marciana Marina are fashionable, although the fish do not know how to cook, as in general throughout the island. Recommended by chef Francesco, we tried simple but wonderful fish dishes, from spaghetti to dried tomatoes, anchovies and capers, to pasta alla Norma, spaghetti with parsley and lemon mussels, parmigiana di acciughe (unusual and delicious) to moscardino in soup with olives and capers, with a tomato to try. Ah, I forgot the good value for money, really competitive compared to the average of the country. The waiter is the kindness made person. See you soon.
Café style eating on the covered terrace, ah and the sea breeze... Delicious authentic Italian food topped with friendly and inviting service. We enjoyed our lunch here so much we are coming back for dinner! Better than some higher rated restaurants.
Great place : wonder full music, nice people and to our surprise the best food in town (small but perfect menu). Try the tuna steak.
I cannot read the reviews in Italian, but I gather there are quite a few negative ones. Perhaps we Australians have different expectations? We found this a great place to stop by for a drink before dinner or coffee any time. All drinks were very reasonably priced and they bring out (or you can help yourself) to free finger food. On one night this was mostly warm foods like pizza slices, on another night it was cold antipasto food. Very generous and a great Italian custom.
