Caffe Italia Trattoria - Marblehead

It's a little old fashioned but cozy restaurant. The calamari was tender and moisture. But the spaghetti and clam had room to improve. The waitress is very friendly. Good place to hang out with friends.

Great cocktails to start. I had a special cucumber martini that was delicious. My husband had a perfectly shaken Hendricks martini. We had an Arugula salad and a beet salad that was both fresh and homemade dressing. He ordered the corn game he disappeared. I had a perfectly cooked squid with a big lemon sauce. Great! We were supervised by a great bartender who felt like family! Didn't get her name, but she lets me go back!

First time eating here at Caffe Italia Trattoria in Marblehead. Awesome experience. The atmosphere was perfect for anyone looking to have a cocktail and conversation with friends. Wait staff was friendly and on the ball. They knew everything that was in the dish you were ordering and was happy to explain it. The owner treated everyone as if they were his friend. Food was great. I highly recommend the Joel Roll for an appetizer. My husband had Haddock Francaise and said it was awesome. We will return. It is a clean and happy restaurant, with just the right touch of elegance. Here’s to you Caffe Italia Trattoria.

I love this restaurant – indeed I will be back this week! Very nice owners – we like to eat at the bar and tables. Great salads and I usually order an appetizer as my meal!

Good food, great service, nice atmosphere. What's not to like. Every time I've been there the owner greets us with a smile and doesn't mind if i want to move to another table other than the one she is leading us to. She's really good at making you feel welcome and checks to make sure that everything was good.
