Wilsons Irish - Marbella

Was there last week for a meeting and the atmosphere, I am pleased to say has changed back to it's old days.

Read the previous review and laughed. Met Popeye and found him to be very friendly and very welcoming. Price wise reasonable for the location but was served promptly and enjoyed the night. Good family atmosphere and will go back again next year.

Changed hands last year and renamed The Office Sold again this year to a consortium of owners who don 't seem bothered to get to know their clientele other than ti introduce an immediate price increase of 33%. All that run by a manager ho walks around like Popeye the Sailor man with and equally grumpy attitude. They should introduce Happy Hour buy one drink and get a double dose of bad attitude

This is my 3rd visit to this area. I first went when the bar first opened and the Wilsons were just getting used to it. This last visit, appreciate its still the summer, but entertainment on, staff very friendly always up for a laugh. Never intrusive. They are getting like your mates . Also the other customers, some who are local, take you in as friends. Also do meals during the day. Great place for drinks after your meal.

Place owned and run by husband and wife Peter and Eimear, unlike most of the so called Irish Bars in the port. Great atmosphere with lots of locals as well as holidaymakers looking in. Good breakfasts too.
