Bidrage med feedbackFrom someone who has been visiting Marbella since 1997 I can safely say that there are few places that still have the charm of the Costa Del Sol. La Virginia is a mom and pop owned and operated restaurant that punches above its weight. Situated in a cute village on the hillside the restaurant is a welcomed distance from the hustle and bustle of Marbella’s glamorous lights and sprawling nightlife. La Virginia takes things down a notch by situating you in a courtyard with seating surrounding a beautiful water fountain under a 100+ year old tree. To my knowledge it only serves dinner and dinner is what you want. Make sure to order the lamb shoulder and the rice with foie gras. The goat cheese salad is simple and fresh, and the wine list is decently priced. Definitely a recommendation to all those who are looking for a romantic or family setting. Note for those who have difficulty walking or who have accessibility issues this might not be the place for you as getting to the restaurant involves a few slopes and stairs. Charm rating is through the roof, food rating is not bad at all, value for money is decent.
One of the worst restaurants in Marbella. Over priced like you cannot believe. Please do not go here unless you want a good laugh about how bad things are.
Siempre he disfrutado yendo a La Virginia.
The place is so amazing! The neighborhood is so romantic and the service is very good! The food was unfortunately not that good with some weird interpretations of classic dishes. I would highly recommend the cebolla pancake though, it was great.
Been coming here for 2 years and I love the place. It’s 2 minutes from the golden mile and you are in an amazing pedestrianised cobbled street with beautiful plants and trees and quaint little houses. There are 2 car parks where you can park. The front of house lady is fantastic and her husband is an amazing chef. The rice with foie gras is great and also the steak with mustard sauce served with French fries is also a favourite. Thank you for the service and amazing food, see you soon.
